We attribute our success  in  accomplishing customer satisfaction by performing regular on-site visits, property surveys and weekly field reports. Our supervisor walks each and every property at least once a month to check on quality and look for any potential problems. We strive to be proactive rather than reactive to achieve a consistently high quality appearance. Each crew carries weekly maintenance reports for each client for the supervisor to review at the end of every day.

 

Maintenance Services:

Lawn Mowing and Lawn Care

Lawns are mowed once a week from mid to late April until early to mid November. A quality slow release fertilizer and effective sprinkling program can help control growth and produce a healthy lawn.

Fertilization Program

Our 6 step program, applied every 6 weeks, is specially formulated for professional results. It will promote greening and thick, healthy top growth while encouraging development of the deep root system that is the foundation of any beautiful lawn. The broadleaf weed control product we use is the best money can buy and will kill most weeds, including Clover and Creeping Charlie, within days.

Soil Testing

Troubled lawn? It is important to know the PH level of the soil. This information pinpoints any soil deficiencies or irregularities and allows us to develop a highly effective fertilization program especially for you. Each test costs $30. You can expect a full analysis printout within 2 weeks.

Aeration

Breaks up compacted soil, allows water and vital nutrients to reach the grass roots, controls harmful thatch and stimulates deep root growth. Most lawns benefit from annual aeration. Heavily used lawns, or those growing on heavy clay may need more then one aeration each year.

Power Raking

Thatch is the accumulation of grass plants and roots that gather just above the soil. It is usually caused by poor watering habits and not by grass clippings. The thatch can prevent the clippings from decomposing properly. Power raking is usually required when thatch is more than 1/2 inch thick. This service must be done before any pre-emergent herbicide is applied in the spring or later in the fall.

Ornamental Herbicide

This treatment helps prevent weeds from growing in your mulch and stone beds. The pre-emergent herbicide requires only 2 applications, one in April and one in July, to help control weeds all season long.

Insecticide and Fungicide

Every summer brings its own problems, be it heat, drought, excessive rain and insects. The most common problems have been fungus diseases such as Summer Patch and Pithium along with grubs and other insects. The main problem with these diseases is that people often don't know they have a problem with their lawns until the disease has spread. Insecticides and other chemicals do a great job preventing problems, but they're not so strong on curing lawn problems in a quick manner. This is why any changes in your yard are monitored closely. Problems will be brought to your attention and a solution recommended.
